Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 May 2026

These terms govern your use of PSPO·I Trainer ("the app"). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

1. What the app is

PSPO·I Trainer is a free, independent study tool for the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) exam. It offers concept lessons grounded in the 2020 Scrum Guide, multiple-choice questions, and a spaced-review queue.

2. No affiliation, no guarantee, no credential

PSPO·I Trainer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with Scrum.org, Scrum Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. "Scrum", "Scrum Guide", "Professional Scrum Product Owner", and "PSPO" are trademarks of their respective owners. References are made under nominative fair use to describe the subject matter of the study tool.

Use of the app does not guarantee success on the PSPO I assessment, nor does it confer any certification, credential, or qualification. The official assessment is delivered by Scrum.org and candidates are encouraged to study the 2020 Scrum Guide and consult official resources at scrum.org before attempting the exam.

3. Content sources and accuracy

Lessons and questions are written from the 2020 Scrum Guide and the author's own analysis. We try to keep content accurate and up to date, but the app is provided "as is" without warranty. The Scrum Guide itself is the authoritative reference; if the app and the Scrum Guide ever disagree, the Scrum Guide wins.

The Scrum Guide is published by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

For non-commercial, personal study — share the link freely.

5. Your data

Study progress is stored only on your device, in your browser's localStorage. We don't have accounts and we don't store your progress on a server. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is processed and your rights.

6. Intellectual property

The app's code, design, lesson text, and original questions are © 2026 Ahmed Salem. Quotations from the 2020 Scrum Guide remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license terms.

7. Disclaimer of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including but not limited to failure of the actual PSPO I assessment, lost study time, or lost data.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
